Coupe de France Karting Loisir: Join Us in Anneville

The Coupe de France Karting Loisir is an event not to be missed for karting enthusiasts. It will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Anneville circuit. This event marks an important milestone for the FFSA, which aims to promote leisure within competition. Thus, 24 drivers will have the opportunity to participate in a day filled with emotions and thrills.

This competition is the result of a collaboration between the FFSA and Sodikart. It aims to establish a link between leisure karting and competition. Moreover, this event is designed to encourage participants to consider a career in karting. Indeed, the goal is to pave the way for the future Coupe de France Karting Loisir scheduled for 2027.

Drivers will have the chance to discover a competitive environment while having fun. This creates a bridge between leisure and high-level sports. Thus, participants will experience a unique and memorable adventure.

High-Performance and Safe Karts

For this Coupe de France Karting Loisir, Sodi Sport chassis have been selected. These karts are both high-performing and safe, facilitating the transition from leisure to competition. Additionally, each kart is equipped with a Rotax Junior Max Evo 2-stroke engine, providing 23 hp at 8500 rpm.

Competitors will face each other on equal weight terms. Furthermore, to ensure optimal performance, the karts will be fitted with Vega SL4 tires, similar to those used in the National category. This promises thrilling sensations for karting enthusiasts.

Participation Conditions

Registrations are open to all drivers, even those who have never been licensed. However, participants must be at least 15 years old. Places are limited to 24, so it is advisable to register quickly.

Participants must bring their helmet, suit, gloves, and shoes. However, the kart and its consumables will be provided on-site. Previous experience on a 2-stroke leisure kart is highly recommended to maximize the chances of success.

A Schedule for Everyone

The day’s program is well-structured. Saturday morning will be dedicated to free and timed practice. Then, in the afternoon, drivers will participate in qualifying heats and the final.

Saturday – Morning

  • Free Practice 1: 10 min
  • Free Practice 2: 10 min
  • Timed Practice: 6 min

Saturday – Afternoon

  • Qualifying Heat: 10 min + 1 lap
  • Super Heat: 12 min + 1 lap
  • Final: 15 min + 1 lap

The winner of this competition will be invited to the 2026 Automobile Sports Trophies ceremony. This will be a great recognition for the driver and an opportunity to gain visibility in the field.
