Cascadia Karting Cup: A Unique Event in October

The Cascadia Karting Cup is a unique event taking place from October 2 to 4 at Pat’s Acres Racing Complex, located in Canby, Oregon. Presented by Shinko Racing Kart Tires, this event marks the end of the karting season in the Pacific Northwest. Drivers, teams, and karting enthusiasts will gather to celebrate their shared passion in a dynamic and friendly environment.

Celebrating the Karting Community

FTK Promotions, led by Andy Seesemann, aims to unite karting enthusiasts in the region. In 2021 and 2022, events were already held at Pat’s Acres, strengthening the bond between competitors and organizers. Seesemann stated, “Pat’s Acres has a rich history and is one of the most unique facilities in the United States.” This new competition seeks to provide an exciting race for the karting community.

A Track for All Skill Levels

Pat’s Acres Racing Complex is a 6/10 mile karting track, perfect for drivers of all skill levels. This multi-sport complex collaborates with the Portland Karting Association to host the Oregon State Karting Championship. Additionally, the track recently hosted events like the Beaver Cup in May. Upcoming competitions, such as the PARC night race, promise to be thrilling.

Strong Industry Support

Support for the Cascadia Karting Cup is evident. Many teams and karting shops have already committed to participating. Aaron Neliton from Neliton Race Concepts expressed his enthusiasm: “We are excited that Andy is organizing a race in our area. There are few well-organized events here.” Therefore, participation from 15 to 20 drivers from his team is expected.

An Unforgettable Racing Experience

Cameron Egger, owner of Sigra Race Development, also showed his support. He emphasized the importance of an event like this: “Pat’s Acres always provides a great racing atmosphere and a family-friendly environment.” Drivers will have the opportunity to experience high-level racing, which is crucial for their career development.

Preparing for the Future

The event organizers, including FTK Promotions, are motivated by the growing support from local teams. Scott Cowell, owner of PGP Motorsports Park, mentioned that this event will complement the sprint racing calendar in the Northwest. “We look forward to having another quality event at the end of the season,” he stated. This highlights how eagerly the Cascadia Karting Cup is anticipated.
