NJC Racing drivers competing at the Kart Mag Trophy in Varennes.

NJC Racing podium finishes were a highlight at the Kart Mag Trophy held in Varennes from August 21 to 23, 2026. With seven talented drivers representing the team, the competition was fierce. Each driver showcased their skills, resulting in a podium finish and several top-6 placements. The event is a significant part of the French karting calendar, drawing attention from enthusiasts and teams alike.

NJC Racing Drivers Shine

Each NJC Racing driver brought their A-game to Varennes. Martin Guillou, who had not raced for several months, made a remarkable comeback. Despite facing challenges, he gained 11 positions in the final race, finishing in 6th place. His performance highlighted his ability to adapt and compete effectively.

Yann Grosse transitioned from the National category to Senior IAME with enthusiasm. He quickly established himself within the top-15 during the heats and climbed to 6th place in the super heat. Unfortunately, he was unable to finish the final race, but his potential was evident.

Consistent Progress from Bryan Chevalier

Bryan Chevalier continued to improve, gaining positions in every heat. His speed increased, and he closed the gap with the leaders. A first-lap incident in the final race prevented him from achieving a better result, which was a setback in an otherwise promising performance.

Armand Houlmann experienced ups and downs throughout the event. His performances in the first heat and super heat demonstrated his potential. Sadly, he was also caught up in the first-lap chaos of the final, which hindered his chances of a strong finish.

Loris Coquard’s Impressive Performance

Loris Coquard showed his speed during the practice sessions, quickly positioning himself in the upper tier of competitors. He excelled in the heats, notably finishing 4th after making a remarkable recovery of 12 positions in one race. In the final, he secured a top-10 finish among nearly 60 competitors, showcasing his determination and skill.

Arnaud Delin, representing Renaux Racing Team, received support from NJC Racing. He consistently performed well, entering the top-6 of his category. Despite facing challenges, including a retirement in one heat, his resilience led him to claim 2nd place on the podium.

Clovis Nougueyrede’s Breakthrough in KZ2

Clovis Nougueyrede participated in his second race in the 125cc gearbox category and finished in the top-5. His performance was no coincidence, as he moved up from 10th place, recording the fastest lap during the race. He was also the second fastest in the super heat, proving the effectiveness of his Maranello chassis and TM engines.

Several private drivers chose NJC Racing for its competitive IAME X30 engines and expert tuning advice. This collaboration allowed them to enhance their performance on the track, demonstrating the team’s commitment to excellence.

Team NJC Racing’s Achievements

NJC Racing celebrated the success of Guillaume Maugain, who achieved pole position after winning the super heat with his NJC engine. Unfortunately, an incident prevented him from finishing the race. The team also recognized the efforts of Master-Gentleman group drivers, including Anthony Liochon, Grégory Raymond, and Emmanuel Busseret, who finished 4th in his category.
