Formula 20,000 enters its second half-season with enthusiasm. Previous events in Soucy and Saint-Amand saw Alexandre Vromant triumph with his MW-Parilla. He outpaced Emilien Grosso on his Tony-Kart. The latter also made history, as Mike Wilson, chassis creator, won his fifth world title in Laval in 1988. Eddy Coubard, who also found success here, is currently ranked 3rd in the Trophy.
For this season, a Zamp RZ-57V helmet will be awarded to the standout driver of the year. In the +10 kg category, Richard Périer leads the BBQ Trophy, followed by Jonathan Duval, a local driver with strong ties to Laval.
Focus on Promo Formula
The Promo Formula stands out with its bright red and yellow colors, like Gaël Chaussade’s kart. He finished 2nd in Soucy and won the race in Laval last year. Renaud Pin is currently 3rd overall and 1st in +10 in Burgundy. The current leader, Sébastien Bertrand, will not be present in Laval, making the competition open and exciting.

Practical Information for Drivers

- Entry Fees: €125 for practice and the race, with a registration deadline of July 9.
- Private Testing: Possible on July 17, with a track fee of €25.

Drivers must also undergo an administrative check on Saturday morning. Then, technical control and tire checking will take place in the afternoon. Competitions will occur only on Sunday, with several heats and a podium at stake.
Awards and Points
Participants will have the chance to win exciting prizes. Everyone present at the awards ceremony will receive a gift from ASK Laval. Additionally, a set of Vega XH4 tires will be awarded to the winner of the Formula 20,000 final. The winner of the pre-final will also receive a €150 gift card.
The points scale for the Trophies is as follows: 15 points for 1st place, 12 for 2nd, and so on down to 10th. For the +10 category, the 1st place will receive 9 points, the 2nd 6 points, and so forth.
